If you haven't heard, Northpoint Condos in the Lechmere section of Cambridge has had new life breathed into it after Magic Johnson (yes, that Magic Johnson, Celtics fans) and his development team have taken the reins to relaunch the stalled neighborhood development at the Northpoint area. The new team is creating "a $2 billion "mini-city" between Cambridge and Boston that will bring thousands of new homes, a shopping complex, and offices to a former rail yard", according to the Boston Globe.
Sales in the currently complete two residential buildings - Tango and Sierra, have finally started to occur at a decent clip after the confusion and unknown future of the project also stalled homebuyers' confidence to buy there.
